Marlene is a Senior Consultant with Top Line Growth Partners focusing on Diversity, Equality, and Inclusion.  Marlene brings over 25 years of experience as a senior leader in project management, process management, team development, and diversity and inclusion.  As a project management professional (PMP), Marlene excels in program delivery using traditional project waterfall and agile methodologies.  She is a sought-after speaker and conference facilitator, author, and counselor.  As a champion for diversity and inclusion, she strives to educate others and break down barriers of conscious and unconscious bias; courageously striving for equality and fairness for all.    

Marlene is the pastor of a diverse congregation in Hanover County, Virginia, with a passion for youth and the disenfranchised. She serves on the board of The Virginia Institute of Pastoral Care (VIPCare) and the board of The African American Association of Clergy women as the director of operations. Marlene holds a bachelor’s degree in Sociology/Theatre & Speech from The College of William and Mary, an MBA from Averett University, a Master of Divinity from Virginia Union University, School of Theology, and a Doctor of Ministry in Formational Counseling from Averett University, School of Theology.  Her biggest joy is spending time with her son; a youth entrepreneur who loves boxing, basketball, video games, and donuts.
