Senior Coach

Jean Gasen is a Senior Coach at Top Line Growth Partners with a strong track record of creating more self-aware, competent, and compassionate senior leaders in business, industry and non-profits. She approaches her leadership coaching with energy, curiosity, creativity, flexibility, and a good dose of humor. She is skilled in creating a compassionate environment where each client can be courageous enough to be honest and vulnerable, resulting in the development of new leadership competencies. 

With a unique blend of more than 35 years of senior-level business and academic experience, Jean has created leadership development programs or served as an executive coach in a wide range of Fortune 500 and middle-market companies and other organizations. She was a tenured Information Systems faculty member in the School of Business at Virginia Commonwealth University (VCU) and served as Director of the Center for Corporate Education and Director of Leadership and Executive Coaching for the School’s Executive Master’s programs.

Jean holds a BA, MA and PhD in Psychology from University of Wisconsin, and Graduate Certificates in Information Systems from Virginia Commonwealth University and Leadership Coaching from Georgetown U. She is a PCC level coach and certified in leadership tools including DiSC®, Insights Discovery®, Tetramap®, Polarities Navigation, and The Leadership Circle® System.

In her spare time, Jean enjoys working out, hiking, and listening to music of all kinds with her husband.
